Tech Support Team Lead - Oxfordshire - £29k - £40k p.a. DOE
Tech Support Team Lead with a minimum of 2 years` experience in supervising a support services team is required for our software development client in Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will have had some post-sales support responsibilities as well as strong management skills in personal development and performance management. Experience with enterprise-level issue tracking systems*application and a degree in commerce, engineering or computer science is desired. Our client are looking for candidates with a passion for creating superior customer service delivery systems, while fostering a stimulating work environment for the technical support staff. This team leader will be responsible for development and management of the first line tech support function for our client`s UK office. The focus will be on providing consistent, high quality tech support to potential and existing customers. There will also be responsibilities for recruitment, training, management and retention of a high quality tech support team. Duties will include: Establishment of workflow processes and metrics to ensure and measure quality of service; Alignment of strategic objectives into day-to-day operations; Creation of systems and organisational infrastructure that will accommodate scalable growth; Management and escalation of critical issues from customers; Production of reports for management. The role will also include a contribution to the client`s sales and marketing efforts through activities such as: training partners, resellers and customers; producing suitable technical material; and attending and presenting at industry forums.
